This is again one of the advantages to useing the format of one big picture and then placing little pictures over top of it. It allows for sections of a future main picture to be placed as insets over an earlier main picture to forshadow parts of the story.
Speaking of the story, that is about to pick up a bit as we learn a bit more about the main characters.
Then the setting will get a whole lot more intresting and a major conflict will be introduced before feburary arrives.
Stick with it, because the story is a powerful one, the art is unique, and well it's not costing you anything to see it. :)
