It was all politics. Sacrifice for some political power grab. Nothing will be better and she'll be just as dead. At least it was only one Sacrifice and not hundreds or thousands for it. But then one death is a tragedy and thousands are a statistic.

When you think of how many people happily found their heroic deaths in an unhealthy delusion, justifying their trail of blood and injustice. Or is that how we all are? I know it even more twisted than here from Goethe's Faust, who also died in the delusion of a free, happy world while he was practically already in hell.
