All this or similar can be found in other fine DD comics, but the big fat topping here is the presentation and the layout of the comic: the subpages are so well done: rich, superbly designed, helpful and informative, and it all just fits together splendidly.
Joseph, you're a genuine comic artist, and I'm sure if Disney had seen your stuff, you'd have been hired on the spot.
So, that's what I wanted to get off my chest. And I certainly hope you'll produce a sequel or a new comic at DD.
[pg 2]
This comic, which appears to have been completed, strikes me as a long overlooked gem. (When checking out new webcomics, I usually set some filters: no furries, no vampires, no stick figures, no cartoon comics, no childish romances, ...). And now that I've taken a closer look at Vampire Girl, I wonder why it didn't end up among the DD award winners.
Maybe because it's so atypical that the jury didn't even notice it?
At the same time, I think the comic is award-worthy across the board.
The graphics - very well done linge claire - are excellent.
The characters are superbly chosen and drawn. I could really take them to heart.
The story, whose serious background is always palpable, is so wonderfully and partly fabulously staged that it is great fun throughout.
The punchlines are on point - on every page!
The scenic presentation is very dramatic with great camera angles, at the same time rich and enigmatically funny, but always clear.

As I've always said: good doctors have their ways of making even excruciating illnesses seem less bad. (Others just say, you'll have to be really sick to go to one of Them.) 😉🤕😁

No escaping bills, even in death. They'd just go after the estate. This has been a great ride. I hope we all get to see Levana again.
