While I have no doubts that other folks have managed to graduate and get a job without skipping a beat, I am clearly not one of them.
On the bright side, I finally found a stable job, which started today. (!!!)
I’ll see what I can do about fixing the egregious error in panel two after work. I got to experiment with drawing crowds on this page, which is something I haven’t really done before. In the original, unedited version, the crowd of tourists was represented by a bunch of stick figures, and not a single person could discern what was happening. Mistakes aside, I relished the opportunity to draw the angriest-looking unicorn possible. (And no, this guy was not inspired by Charlie the Unicorn. Good cartoons, though.)
After I draw the thumbnails for a given page, I tend to fill the margins with practice sketches, trying to nail the facial expressions and whatnot. So somewhere in my notes-book is a page of unicorn rage.
Also, if’n you like to read your stories all in one go, instead of doled out one page at a time, might I suggest a new sci-fi novel that a friend of mine has written? Now, I normally prefer my genres blended together, but Rich Hane’s classic-style science fiction adventure story, _Foxhunt!_ won me over with its excellent use of imagery and suspense. Next update, I’ll include the link to a sample chapter, but for now, here’s a clumsy Amazon URL:
http://www.amazon.com/Foxhunt-Rich-Hanes/dp/0578026058/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253837603&sr=8-3
It’s good stuff!
This update is brought to you by the letters J and B.

Thanks. There's just something about drawing really angry faces that amuses me every time.

I agree the unicorn was gold. You did a great job on the crowds in my opinion.

D'aw shucks, I'm glad you like it! ^ ^

The Pissed-off-unicorn panel is GOLD, my friend.
