Fitzy: heh, yeah.. baseball is one of those sports that seem simple form the outside, but then all the nit-picky stuff sneaks up on you. Just check out CF's posted link in his comment. Sheesh! I was weened on baseball/softball, as many kids were in the Midwest (in the Philly area, it seems to be soccer). So, it's practically in my DNA to understand baseball.

LOL! I feel like Fred here, I'm a complete noob. I did see a bunch of games in moves etc, but that's it - and I have NO CLUE what it's about. Well, maybe a little. But not the big picture.

Baseball is my favourite sport. But being Australian kind of restricts seeing games. We do have a baseball team in my capital city tho. Perth Heat!! I love them. I went to a game and my brother in law got hit with a foul ball...great stuff!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to baseball games. Doesn't matter where, I absolutely love the atmosphere.
