of Snakes & Apples has absolutely beautiful artwork, particularly the tendrils of hair entwining with the borders of the page and the eyes of the characters. The story looks impressive as well :)

@ morphmaker

I like the selective coloring and font usage in MMH. It's looking good so far, I'll have to go through the whole thing a bit later. I also like the characters so far. They're simple but interesting. Good stuff from what I've seen.

Neither of the links in your signature work, so I had to go through your profile to get to one of your comics - I chose Awesomataz.

The latest comic of this is hilarious! Very nerdy in subject matter (having the sandman go visit various comic writers as they dream), but so funny if you know anything about the writers. Very very funny stuff!

Temple updated on Monday with a new action sequence in the works. Seymour gets shot twice by the gang leader (who also happens to be Tojin, and the Swordsman doesn't like Tojins)! Check it out!

Woops, thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix it.

Charlie's power of mild annoyance are a delight men, women, transexuals (both pre and post-op), and beings of pure energy everywhere.

Temple is action-packed! Everything about it simply pushes the active feel. The panels and page layouts are very dynamic, and the characters have a lot of detail and sharp angles, so they look very tough and muscular. One of the signatures of trevoramueller 's style is exaggerated foreshortening, which also adds to the whole “action” feel.

Great job. :) Keep it up!

Stupid rhyming…

BEST SPRITE COMIC EVA!

Great angles and perspectives, awesome text art and beautiful backgrounds. Everything seems to be going good over there at American007. Keep it up Valid, you are truly a master of your craft.

Besides having what could easily be the best name for a comic on all of DD, I love the improved artwork over the older stuff. And the spiffy writing is good too!
A Roll of the Dice now with full-size pages!

John Clyde now with ten times the tacky Hawaiian shirts!

I really like the art style, the line work, in A Rolle of the Dice. The character seem interesting, and their dialogue is believeable. You put a good amount of detail into the backgrounds, establishing scene and location. Overall, the world that the characters inhabit seemlessly transitions between scenes that you place them in - everything looks and feels corherent.

Temple updated on Wednesday with some posturing, which will lead into a fight scene next week. On Friday will be more Fan Art Friday, so check it out!

Hmm… I've been a faithful reader of ‘The Temple of a Thousand Tears’ from the start, but for some reason or other I never really read Trevor's other comic, A$$hole. So I decided to check it out. Turns out I've been missing out on a hilarious comic with some great artwork - and in full color. The latest page is just TOOOOO funny.

EVERY SINGLE THING about ABC is awesome. The depth of both art and emotion, the beautiful scenery and shading, the perspectives and the tone set. I mean really Fitz can't do wrong. You sir are a genius and I have nothing bad to say about you. Your writing is great, your art is bar none one of the best, and the collaboration of both plus your willingness to improve in any way you can makes this comic one of the best I have ever seen here on the Duck. Bravo my friend, bravo.

I'm biased cuz I already love DO1 but still, a very funny gaming comic Shin-chan. Very funny and good pop culture references all mixed into four panels. The art's cool to in it's own kinda weird way. With all the characters having giant colored Hanna-Barabara eyes. They pierce my soul…and send me right to hell. But that's a good thing right?

Your drawing is excellent, your colouring is amazing, your characters are quirky. Greatness.

Also

a very funny gaming comic Shin-chan.
Who's Shin-Chan?…
I'm not really around much anymore, but here's my Tumblr, Twitter, and Deviantart. Also if you remember me from back when I was around, I'm sorry.

((Skips me, do Crocty))

It was a play on his name. ShinGen. I love the show Shin-Chan, and the SHIN in his name is obviously supposed to stand apart from the Gen due to the cap G so if Shin is what you'd call him for Short and I'm not explaining the suffix Chan in japanese so I could call him Shin-Chan just because I'm otaku or in reference to Crayon Shin-Chan. It was unfunny on multiple levels!

Insert Title has a unique style to the line art. I like the thick bold lines around the characters, helping to define them from the background (specifically in the last panel of the current page). Great stuff!

@$$hole! updated on Friday. Laura tries to help Susie get ready for her interview by making a few hair style suggestions…a few of which may not work as well as she thought. Check it out!

Temple updated today with some sweet action sequences. The swordsman takes out two bandits using only his bare hands. Only the bandit leader is left - how will she deal with the situation, and avenge her gang? Find out Wednesday!

As I said before Trevor, you have 2 great comics that you're working with. A$$hole is quite funny while Temple is extreme action-packed excitement! I also enjoy the differences in colour for both of them. One is full of bright, beautiful colours, while the other is a simple greyscale (which I think works better for Temple).
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).

@ Priest_Revan - Your strip has a cast of characters that give the reader feelings for; even new readers can find a lovable character almost immediately. It's also very easy to relate to some of the scenarios they go through. Your colors are vivid and used wonderfully, and I'd encourage anyone who reads this post to check it out!
By the time you finish this, you'll have read it. :3

What we have here is a well drawn comic strip with very clean lines and some good photoshop work. Transparencies, layers, etc all used very well. It is even humorous!
I think luck7s76 is doing a great job! The characters are very well drawn, as are their interactions with eachother!

Chimera has some SWEET artwork - nice character design, very smooth, clean lineart and beautifully done shading. I'm new to this story, and the vast archive will take a while to go through - but I'm intrigued. Also, what makes this story unique for me personally - as I'm not a frequent reader of manga - is that it reads from right to left, so I sometimes find myself a bit confused. But it's all a matter of getting used to it :)

Oh sweet nectar, I get to compliment Fitz on his amazing series, A Bit Cheesy. ABC was the very first series I faved on Drunk Duck, and I was instantly drawn in by the amazing colors, unique layout and panel shots, gorgeous effects (water, light, smoke, etc), and thought provoking narrative.

The latest page is certainly the best one yet, and I can only imagine where Fitz is going to go from there.

If you are not reading A Bit Cheesy, why the heck not?

Part 1 of a 3 parter started today, with "Interview Techniques. Now, the funny thing is that these are actual techniques for interviewing - just with a little comedic twist.

I do not recommend attempting to kill the interviewer, by the way…. ;)

American007: I like how this isn't like most sprite comics where the artist just sticks little sprite characters in panels. There's some actual creativity put into the making of the comic. I especially like the backgrounds!

Chimera: Really good, clear line art and very nice use of greyscale. It makes you feel that there is colour! I also like the minimalistic take on the paneling and the layout. Really nice work. Well done!
