Hey folks, I'm not sure if this counts as “spam” or if it belongs in another forum, but here goes anyway. My name's Giando Sigurani, and in 2006 I was one of the semifinalists in the Comic Book Challenge. My idea (the Political Spectrum Ninja Association) was generally well-recieved, and I was asked back the next year as well, but I think I need something a little more.
It's my artwork. It's not that good, not for the comic book industry at least. I've been told I'm a great writer and that I have good ideas, but I'm about as learned when it comes to basic perspective as a rock is learned in advanced astronomy.

So, I'm looking for an artist. The deadline's for the end of the month, but there's still about two weeks to respond. Any applicants could just PM me a link to some artwork (I'm looking for something stylized, yet playful, not too serious.). If I pick someone, they'll have to do three to six full pages of artwork (preferably colored), and I'll do the rest. If we DO make it to the CBC, rest assured I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME (all the way to the end, my friend!), and we will be partners throughout the ordeal, so be sure you have time AFTER the challenge to work on a full-time comic book should we win.

So here's some pages of the “concept” I'll be submitting. It may seem silly, slapstick-ish, and politically charged, but rest assured I actually have a legitimate, palatable storyline to go with this.

This is supposed to go in Networking and Community Projects, I think. I think you would have a better chance of a response there.

Keep in mind, though, that the writers looking for artists almost always outnumber the artists looking for writers, so finding an artist might be a bit difficult. Good luck, though! :)
