You'll have no problems finding friends around here.
Finding artists might prove more challenging since the current writer/artist ratio is approximately 10/1 and most of the artists are creative enough to write their own comics. If you're intersting in trying to snag one, post an ad with some of your ideas in Networking & Community projects.
