So I am generally new to drunkduck.com. I do not have anything online as of yet, but I would like to go through with something soon if it shows potential of a reader or two.

Basic Summary:
A young girl named Alis and her best friend Morana find themselves in an entirely new dimension through an accidental marriage.

Introduction:
After the rise of a new moon, Orrick and Seira Blaidd, a farmer merchant and housewife who lived in the outskirts of the busy town of Balder Claude, were blessed with a pair of unexpected twins. Seira birthed a son and a daughter in their cattle barn that night, however, only one of the two infants survived the bitter coldness of the midnight air. After the death of Kaen Blaidd, his single twin sister, Adalheidis, or ‘Alis’ after the dirty town beggar, was believed by her family to be a cursed child for ‘killing’ her twin brother. The family favored sons over daughters. To them, daughters were nothing more than a worthless mouth to feed. It is a wonder how she made it through infancy as she was neglected and left to the animal barn most nights.

Alis grew up to be a very patient child. She was worked to the bone and grew up mainly amongst the cattle and other livestock she cared for. She was not a mindless creature as she was extremely intelligent and learned very quickly many tasks just by watching. She did not think much for herself, so she was easy prey for her younger brothers to pick on. She could not speak her mind or come to her own defense because of the fear of being beat harder. Alis was always the hurt one, that is, until a humble man bought her freedom…

the story is okay so far…I thought you were doing a mary and joseph re-make at first but then you went off about twins and stuff then it started sounding like a cinderella story. Too soon to tell I think.
