So today is apparently International Hug Day as opposed to National Hugging Day which is apparently January 21st.

It is somewhat amusing to me how there are so many "official days"

Here's a few:
National Sense of Smell Day
Blame Someone Else Day
National Corndog Day
International Chocolate Day

And lets add that Ninja one too..

Has anyone else come across some bizarre official day or festival?
(not including the penis festival in Japan)

I like this official Day! Hugging is awesome…

There is some site out there that my friend Molly found that had a list of what every single “official day” was.

…There are some weird ones out there.

There's National Lonely Sock day, and Step in Time Day and No Eating Chocolate Eclairs Day, but those are the only ones I can really remember right now.

ok… this is dodgey territory… I think I'll leave it right there.

Hug day is good though. Hugging is fun, I always go back for seconds…
