Welcome to the game! By now, you should now what all of your roles are and you should be ready to play a good game of Mafia II: The Expanded Edition. The rules can be found HERE. However, here are some other important rules that I forgot to mention:

1. Do NOT post any PQs that I send you.

2. When performing any type of action in the game, ALWAYS PQ me. Otherwise, your action won't go through, and you might expose your role in the process.

3. No dead-talking. Once you've been killed, you cannot talk anymore (at the very least about the game). If someone who has died still posts, all alive players should ignore them.

4. If you have any questions regarding specific role actions, PQ me first.

5. This game was designed to go by much faster than the first game, so expect the game to be finished around a week real-time.

6. Have fun. Don't take anything in this game too seriously and just sit back and enjoy the ride!

I would like to announce my will to run for mayor of Townston. I may have been the godfather, but I have been reformed. Ignore the casino chips hanging from my pockets, I tell you. They are old.

As mayor, I promise not to overuse my power against my people or use cheap intimidation tactics to root out mafia.

I'm tired of writing history. Let me make it!

My dear citizens of Townston, gosh I bloddy hate that name, as you have probably notice a great evil is amongst us, evil which spreads treachery and mistrust in the good ordinary people of this town.
The people need a leader, a leader who is not affraid of taking hard and difficult decisions, a leader who is fair and not corrupted by the devious mafia and a leader of action!
As a mayor of this town, I shall do some radical changes:

1. As a major priority, I want to change the name, to Drunkville.
2. I want to ban gambling, not because it attracts criminals its because of all the litter the former cardboard-casino left behind.
3. I will bring icecream to the kids on sundays.

I would like to point out the LOS did nothing for the town as the vigilante last term. He didn't even try to kill anyone the first night and because he told everyone his role, he promptly died the next night. Do you really want someone like that as your mayor…

Just a reminder: All votes must be PQed to me in order for them to count. Also, the mayor and godfather must be decided by the end of the day tomorrow at 5pm PST/8pm EST. Remember to read the rules!!!

Also, before a mayor is elected, I have another update regarding the mayor-role. You may also choose to vote for Martial Law. Martial Law will only happen if it receives the majority of the vote. I you do declare Martial Law, no mayor will be elected, and the town may only lynch one person per day. Also, you will not be able to elect another mayor in the future, so this should only be utilized if there is no one fit to be mayor or if there are too few players for a mayor to serve any useful purpose for.
