Yeah, I have to agree with everyone. DD is frickin' awesome. I think that appoximately 40% of my internet time is dedicated to DD. Absolutely no other webcomic community is as close as the people who post hear. I would recommend the Duck to anyone looking to start a webcomic.

I was going to put Grog on ComicGenesis, originally, but I had some trouble understanding how to do it (I fail at computers). I found DrunkDuck and decided to use it as a temporary home for my comic while I figured out how to use CG.
Funnily enough, I never bothered. ;)
I love it here. I've even tried to talk my CG-using friends into using DD instead (with some success!). The sense of community is wonderful. With this new Civil War thing especially, I've really felt a part of things here, and it just makes me want to… hug DD or something. ^_^

DD is so great! I'm amazed, back at SmackJeeves the forum community was a bunch of snobs and very few people even noticed my comic existed… I almost felt like I was intruding or something, like walking into a party and being stared at with “WTF is she doing here” stares!

yea i love this site, it is like a brotherhood of comic artist and comic readers. and trust me for that i am thankful, because where i now live there aint hardly no one to talk about comics with(you might get chased outta town with pitchforks for being evil)let alone find a comic book store, there is one about 45 mins away and God love it and the owner to death, but it really sucks. I really miss my old comic book store in Chalmette, Heroes and Legends, it was so cool, there was also another one in new orleans on elysian fields…Crescent City comics, yea thats it. That was a cool store also, alas neither one exist any more, they were both destroyed in Katrina…so this site is like a God send!!!
