Holy cow, FIGHT was up there in both of the two 2003 screenies. And they weren't even updated. Man, we shouldn't have gone inactive. Stupid Ed and his stupid marriage… Now we gotta work harder than ever to claw our way back up…

I remember some of those looks…. had a forum account but never posted a comic in the way back times here.

That's not all that old at all, that came after the silver/blue version, shortly after one of the big DD crashes if I recall correctly.

Gunnerkrigg Court is a fairly new comic.

Black Kitty has the picture of the first version of DD which I believe many of us lovingly called the “PA Knockoff”.

EDIT: God I miss the Grab Bag.

I remembered my comics are always on the top 30. After ages of no update, my comic is now in oblivion. :D

Yeah, but #3 of what, 300 total? Now your #83 of 3996 total! And that's with your HD catastrophe!
It'll definitely be worth your $ to get that HD extracted by a computer shop. You can't put a price on those hundreds of pages you poured your soul into.

There was also some kind of point system. I forget exactly how it worked, but after so much accumulation, you could win prizes from Drunk Duck. I actually cashed some of mine in shortly before the big crash and bought that copy of Photoshop that had been there forever.

Didn't you trade in cookies to get points?

The features that grind-ed my gears were that you had to have separate accounts for separate comics, could only upload one page a day, and rigging up updates was a lot trickier.

Yes, I pulled a sneaky and actually cashed in some duck bills before I lost them. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure that I cashed them in the very moment I had enough to get the disc, so I didn't waste any time at all.

There were a couple other things there, too. I think there was a Cowboy Bebop DVD that I was eyeing up, but I never grabbed it. Wasn't there like a comicbook, too? Whatever happened to those prizes?
