I think that Pancake Day is a rather demeaning way to look at it, the holiday isn't to celebrate PANCAKES, to be honest, i'm not really religious, but declaring Shrove Tuesday as the “BEST HOLIDAY EVAR” is a bit retarded without doing the research as to WHY it is a holiday and WHY pancakes are associated.
