Not quite. From what's up right now, the DD store is going to have a more limited selection for the time being than the main EZPrints store. I imagine they might open it up after a bit once they've got it pegged as to what sells best in a comics-related market, but right now it's just what has been listed in this thread. I really shouldn't even speculate as to what they might do since I don't have access to that stuff, but that's the impression I have is that they're figuring out what will be profitable for the users.

Also, I would argue that the store is quite functional Mr. Twist. Right now, it's just in beta more or less so that they can make sure there aren't any problems when it goes live for everyone. I'm personally finding it pretty easy and straightforward to use, and despite quite a bit of looking, have yet to find any bugs whatsoever.

I gotta warn you guys, one of the rules of the store is that any image you try to sell has to be 100% by you. That bigger than cheeses link isn't working, so I can't really tell what is going on in the few posts above…. but that means basically there's a lot of ‘parody’ stuff, fan art, etc that is ok here on DD but won't be approved for the store. And, basically, no sprites unless we know they're definitely original sprites by the user. Nudity will be ok, but sex, etc won't. (Basically nothing “A” rated.)

They are telling us that barring a disaster (like what happened this week with the images), the store should be opening next week. There's just one or two last things to tweak. I'll make a newspost with more info so people can prepare.

Well, we won't be making judgments on quality, and we'll be unable to catch everything potentially ganked just because it's impossible to know everything. I had no idea that red face was from BTC (if he didn't trace it from someplace himself already). I imagine phrases etc will be submitted, but I'm not sure if the printing processes used are really ideal for slogan t-shirts and such.

Just recycling memes. Everyone does it.

As long as there's some creative shirts on there, I don't see there being a problem. And hopefully we don't get any shirts like some famed webcomic “artists”… not to point any fingers (but really a little in jest)

I guess this store will be the SECOND reason why I'll go back to drawing my “main” comic. The first? Somehow Magiversity got listed on that TV Tropes page… O_O

The buyers stick their work on any product… There are not set things, so they only put stuff on shirts if that's what they want, the artists just provides the work.

Shirt choice is… limited. -_-
It's white or nothing, just different sizes and different size art.

Unless these 2 generic things would sell if i put them on tshirts then i think i wait a while till i can come up with good ideas.

You don't have to link uploaded stuff to a comic. Everyone gets a “general artwork” section. Part of the idea is that the store draws people who don't necessarily have comics.
