does anyone do this? i very recently heard of DD on Livejournal where i'd been posting my comic and have since heard of SJ in this forum. i checked it out and it looks pretty much like DD (as you probably all know.. again, i'm new and learning). is there some kind of etiquette about posting on both? like do we choose one or the other or is it acceptable to use them both? it seems to make sense to post as many places as you can, especially if it's free, in the interest of getting an audience, but if allegiance to one community is expected i could understand that too. please let me know so i don't look like a huge jerk.

Anyhow, no we do not require you to remain exclusive to DrunkDuck. You can post in as many places as you want and still be welcomed here. :) So no worries.

A lot of people use DD as a ‘backup’ place to post there comic, while posting it at another location. While the duck was down I was looking into Smack Jeeves as a place to host my comic, but if I remember correctly there were file size limitations that would have tripped me up…

I have my euphemistically titled “main site”, an archive at Keen-space-comic-geneticists-generation-whatever (Comic Genesis), and a fine place at Drunk Duck where I also have commentaries for each page. I’m planning to make a new site at NightGig for Pinky stuff as well as soon as I can finish it off, -never the time in the day :(
And I have art spread thin all OVER the internet…

So yes, put your work in as many places as you can!!!!

Mine used to be exclusively on Smack Jeeves but then it crashed and I discovered this place. DD has become my adopted main-site but I'm getting set to pimp my comic simultaneously on DD, SJ and CG :twisted:
