It's been a while since I recommended anything here, but you guys really should be taking a look at Winter City.

The artwork is excellent and both the dialogue and the narrative flow smoothly. It's set in the modern-day “real world” which is possibly one of the hardest environments to depict convincingly and yet - even in the few pages posted so far - it draws you in like a good noir thriller.

From the summary it appears there may be some supernatural shenanigans going on that haven't been made explicit yet. Jump on board now, so you can be there when they are!

My Gem is ‘BALLMAN’ by David Mejia.

A dark-humored satirical swipe at society one minute,

then utter berzerk nonsense the next. :dizzy:

i'd totally say The Black Terror for a start:
http://www.drunkduck.com/Curse_of_The_Black_Terror/

This comic is good, and the guy has a lot of heart. To me, that's a combination I thoroughly enjoy.
“Ninjas are a lot like cockroaches. For every one you kill, there's thousands nesting in your walls.”

I gonna give a recommendation for Saroth. It's made by the same guy who made Energize and Fearless, and it's about a supervillain trying to survive hell.

I just added Hominids to my “to review” list. It's only at ten pages right now, but the art is phenomenal and the setting seems both novel and dynamic. If the plot is executed as well as the rest of it, consider me an official fan. Looks like a primeval, tribal story featuring different branches of hominids. I love how expressive the figures are.

My next recommendation is for Time Girls. So far it has ninjas, magic and naked girls! Here's what the author says about it:

Tim Wellman
The world of Time Girls is quite different than the world we believe we live in today. We understand there’s one reality, one universe, one world. But in the world of Time Girls there is an infinite number of universes, infinite dimensions where life exists exactly as it does in our own. People are born, live, die, follow dreams and right and wrong paths.

But, within these countless dimensions exist the tools of destruction for other universes, perhaps the one you live in. These devices, although mostly mysterious, are called ‘time portals’. Basically gateways to travel through time and dimensions, but they also hold unknown secrets and enormous power.

Time Girls is about teams seeking out these portals as they are discovered throughout time and space. Both good and bad are after them, and neither is willing to give one up without a fight.

OK, that’s the serious stuff out of the way, the book is also about bouncy boobs and slapstick comedy. Hot babes, comedy, action, adventure… there’s something for everyone!

The comic, however sexy, is not hentai or ‘sexual’ in any way… there will never even be a single kiss in these pages. It’s all just good sexy fun.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but check out Epic Kill
http://www.drunkduck.com/Epic_Kill/index.php

The artwork is Marvel/DC quality. I know a lot of people just say stuff like that because it's ‘pretty good for a web comic’, but trust me, it IS Marvel/DC quality.

Just 18 pages so far, but man, that art! The art! From panel layouts, to lineart, to coloring, to lettering… everything is professional… and there's a bunch of crap that gets published, I mean REALLY professional… golden age comic book professional.

Truly amazing work. The creator of this could make a living penciling, coloring, inking, or lettering…

Just want to give a shout out to Hocusha. It's only just started, but it's great so far!

I'm recommending this one again, because it has just started updating again, and it's even better than it was before!

God Shaped Holes has started up again recently, after coming back from webcomic death, as in it was officially declared over by the author. I guess he lied.

I don't know if this can be classified as “unnoticed” because the word sort of implies to me a comic that's been around for awhile but hasn't garnered much attentions, but anyway, I find SLEEP AGENT pretty captivating so far. The are is professional-y looking and I like the dialogue a lot. I really want to know what that guy is up to/his role; it's a comic that has a really great feel to it! It doesn't have many pages posted yet, so jump on board now I suppose. :D

I've been following Alwinbot through this comic's title changes, and loved it every step of the way.

Well, given the relative lack of info we get on comics now, I have no idea whether this is “unnoticed” or not. It is still very new though, so there's a strong chance it still needs some more love.
Check outMid-Evil. High quality artwork, engaging characters and the beginnings of a story that looks as if it could become quite epic!

EDIT: Thanks, GJ. Damn Duck broke the link! Curse these wonky forums!

Actually that one was featured, but it was right before that data loss in March. At some point over the next 2 weeks he deleted the original account (The Rangetsu Experiment) and made a new one (Rangetsu) and re-uploaded all the pages there. I'm not really sure why he did that instead of re-uploading the pages to the original account, but it basically meant no one can access his comic from the feature any more. I can't feature a comic twice. :/

A promising new one is starting up. It's about some very sarcastic guinea pigs. It's quite funny and the art is spot on. Seems like the creator is already established online. Check it out.

“You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process,” he added. “That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle.”
