Hey there, I'm new here - thought I'd say hello and show off my webcomic ^]^

It's a project we started ages ago and run a website for it, I just thought I'd try and spread it out a bit ^^

I'm new also and i saw your work. it is very good although all it needs is shades so the reader doesn't get tired seeing the pages.
I've posted this recently:

I would love to read other peoples work but it is
hard to find good ones. I think the best way to get your work noticed
by other people is to organize a group where we all would want to
give work and read others. I don't think it's fair to submit work
hoping for people to read and don't read theirs. if you want to share
you have to give and this world holds more than one talented person.
if anyone is interested in this group let me know so I can organize
it.
I have a manga, do you?

Hi and welcome to you both, BytheGods (had to edit! I had your name as bythebard after your comic; oops) and SageNITO

@Sage - I think you're right. there does seem to be a lot of reciprocity when creators read other comics. And even though the forums are Very Slow these days, posting helps too – that's how I saw your work!

(as to mine, I'm on indefinite hiatus until I at least finish up a rpoject I have going)

so, very cool! Nice comics, keep up the art, and the sharing.
You TOO can be (multiple choice)

BytheGods,
I'd say welcome to the Duck, but I don't think I'm much newer than you! I've read up to what you two have posted, and I really like what you're doing (I love line-art). I'm very interested to see where this goes in the future.
I really like the idea to share comics as suggested by SageNITO. Perhaps the three of us could form a trio of new guys and do this? We all have very different styles, mediums, and stories, and I think a group like this would be beneficial to us all. PQ me or email me (okoyakicomics@gmail.com) if either of you like this idea.
Best,
Michael

You should give that thread a try, when you update you post there and tell people why they should check out your comic, however first you MUST comment on the previous commentors comic. You give and recieve feedback.

your style is awesome but i think you need some greys and shadows to add depth to your panels. keep up the good work it's great!

Yeah, black and white is fine (especially with certain genres), but you can do a lot with shading to make people accept the lack of color more easily.
