Hi everyone, this is the artist for Banana Cream Cake. I'm trying to make a more concerted effort to contribute to the comic and everything. I just found out about all this banner exchange stuff the other day, so I'm going to take over duties for it and hopefully keep it more up to date. I saw that some people didn't like the banner that Dr. Sharktopus put up so I made a new, classier one. Anyway, please put us back in the rotation I'll be taking over responsibilities for the banners and such.

“ArteestX” hasn't changed the banner for over a month. (but updates his comic)

Also the comic “lovemagic” has jumped ship to another site and is no longer updating on Drunkduck. I think to be apart of adult duck you should be updating on the duck also…?

I'll send ArteestX a PQ and… um… as long as Tea Green is updating the banner here for Love Magic, I guess it's okay to keep them on. I'm not sure if it can work if they're not planning to maintain a mirror here.

Well, I feel like Lovemagic is still a part of the site despite it not updating here but I'm willing to compromise. How about I just put up banners and link from my new site too? That way, no one is left out and it seems more fair.

Sure, but the whole point of “adult DUCK” is to make it a drunk duck thing. If we start having offsite comics it defies the whole purpose of highlighting adult drunk duck comics….?

It's really only for Duck comics, though they don't necessarily need to be currently updating comics. In fact, it's probably a good way to drive traffic to your comic when it's completed or on hiatus. It's okay for you to run a banner on your inactive Duck comic, so long as you're keeping up with the banner rotations. But we can only link to your Duck comic, not your other site.

ArteestX is on hiatus, possibly a permanent one from what I'm hearing, and he's asked me to take him out of the rotation until he gets back. So starting next Sunday, he'll come off the list.

You haven't updated the banner thing since you added the “Death Porn” one, which wasn't the correct banner to begin with.

Cid, perhaps we need people to make a quick “updated” reply in the adult duck banner comic. That way we know they are on it and not just freeloaders.

That would help, but I'd really like to keep the whole banner exchange thing as uninvolved as possible for the members. I think that, at the end of the day, there's only so much you can blame on procedures. I combed through all of the member sites, and over a third of them are two weeks or more behind on updating. Realistically, if those people can't be bothered to update a banner, then they're not going to bother leaving a comment every week either, so it probably makes more sense at this point just to avoid the headache and remove them from the rotation altogether. I'll drop them next Sunday when the list reshuffles, and send them a PQ informing them that they're free to re-apply if they still wish to participate in the banner exchange.
