Of course. Comedy from a different stage of our lives, we always love to get reminded of it. And who wouldn't want to see the old Brooks go out with a banger? Something to look forward to.

As long it is better than the animated series attempt they made, I'm in. I think they pulled off the History of the World Part II series well, so we'll see

The first Mel Brooks movie I saw as a kid as Blazing Saddles. I watched that a at a camping ground. They had a watch party for the kids at night, we all lay on the trampoline in our sleeping bags while they played it. :)
I also saw The Life of Brian that way LOL

I saw The Producers with my sister sometime later and the History of the world.
I HAD to see Spaceballs when it came out. I loved it so much I recorded the theme song onto tape so I could play it again and again. <3

Men in tights was great but not as much as Spaceballs haha!

My my, do not forget To be or not to be. :) Even though a remake, and he didn't direct it, it's comedy gold.

My husband loves the opening on To Be Or Not To Be. His grandparents were Polish and frequently argued. Seeing Mel and his wife argue unlocked his childhood memories.

History of the World Part II is on Hulu and not animated. Should have specified better.

It is superior to the original. It has a satirical edge the original lacked even if the original had such an amazing cast.
