There are volunteer jobs (part-time) at the various state parks which will give you a free RV/trailer pad with water/electric/septic hookups. It would cut into how many hours you can work, but hey you won't be paying for a place to park your trailer. Just go to volunteer.gov and search in Idaho. e.g. This one is nearby and 24 hrs/wk with a trailer pad. https://www.volunteer.gov/results.cfm?ID=10039
Right now your life seems to be late-stage Harry Potter, with Voldemort and his minions running wild everywhere. I look forward to seeing them vanquished forever.

Georgia is pretty nice and laid back. With your forklift experience you would not be unemployed for long, and the people are great. An older trailer 20 miles from Savannah rents for less than $500 a month, the police are decent, the cost of living is low.
Why would you want to live in a city like Chicago, anyway? You would gain instant victim status there, and there are too many people.
The Pittsburgh suburbs are pretty nice too. My sister's family bought a 3-bedroom house this year for $65,000, it was an old house but it's sturdy. Unemployment in the county was 3.9% the last time I checked.
Mostly cus the train goes that way.. easy to go..truck wont make it with a load...over the mt...found a room going to go look at this afternoon.. if can get room will stay work on saving up to fix truck.. if not.. we make a new plan.. see how far the truck will go..

I think given a choice I'd aim at Austin or Denver, maybe Key West.

Just saying the place you have joined yourself to looks toxic as shit. Moving yourself is clearly a negligible exercise to someone who has camped out, and otherwise gone rough living and done it well overall, doing it with a cat, maybe not so much, presents a big challenge for me. The place you have put your heart and body seems to be abusive. I highly recommend looking at a life changing move to a place that can not fill even the most basic jobs without a bunch of begging and still has "cheap" housing.
How many months have you lived out on the hills with f#@ck all prospects at your current location?

One bit of advice if you do decide to move: be sure you're running toward something instead of running away from something."
Really really good advice from felonimayhem by my perspective. You have internet access, I would hope you decide to run searches like "areas with lowest unemployment rate" and "areas with lowest rental costs" and then public transit in areas where the two prior searches results seem to have some overlap. Was in and out of Chicago a lot when driving OTR about a decade ago, I doubt things have changed much from what I have read online more recently and would very strongly advise against moving there, not a good/welcoming/helpful place. I have relatively little knowledge of Minnesota, perhaps do a search with the above parameters for Minnesota cities?
One bit of advice if you do decide to move: be sure you're running toward something instead of running away from something. Make sure the place you're going has something stable waiting for you.
I just wanted to finally get to the next chapter...I've been considering packing up my pack and catching the train to Chicago..also considered Minnesota as the train goes there also.. but Ive been advised against it.. I was told I would not be welcome there.. that it was illegal to walk along a roadway there and the laws were more fiercely enforced against the homeless.. I can navigate the woods not so sure about the city.. every time I have taken a big risk it has failed .. so I stand here at the edge and try to decide in its better to take what money I have and travel and hope I land on my feet next time..or hang on to the job and money I have saved and hope for luck brake in housing .. I have one last rental application out if that one also fails then I will store what I have,, try to rehome cat and take the train..
My rent is payed till the 31..but she likes to trespass people from the property then ..people must pay other people to move there stuff to the property line.. another fav play is you must give up a family member to stay.. a child or spouse is listed and she will offer to let the rest of the family stay if they give up a member..often the family unable to find housing will decide it's better to lose a member then have the children sleeping exposed outside.... teenage child is her next fav sacrifice.. give up the eldest to keep the younger.. as the cities have walked in the homeless car and camper dwellers into smaller and smaller islands..the kings of the islands have increasingly become power mad.. to anger the king is to be tossed out to the waiting cops.. who play the part of wolves in this drama.. all kinds of outlandish things become demands of the kings to stay on the island.. I pay the camps taxes to avoid being kicked out in snow..
my comics started out light and funny.. and got darker and darker. as the abuse in my life got worse my comics got darker..as I look back over them I see how the events of the real world made dark ripples in the comics..so yes they are dark... in its newest incarnation lan is trying to find his way out of the dark. that why nick is important in a little more.. he is the first truly kind person Lan has meet. any way I hope Lan finds his happy. heals the broken parts. finds love .. stops hating himself.. I hope that the darkness doesn't eat him up..
Please look at my maybe not so coherent replies regarding your housing location. Also I just recently found your other comics, a bit too dark for me to take in in one day. Be good to yourself.
Please visit a lawyer as soon as possible. You need someone who's on your side to give you all the options available. You might be able to appeal your eviction notice, for instance. That would at least give you some time to move your trailer to a safe place instead of having it impounded and having to pay the impound fees. The police and landlady are doing what's easiest for them, not what's best for you.
I know the police aren't on the side of poor folks but the court system is supposed to be impartial to everyone. You should not be found guilty of any crimes you did not commit, and there are safeguards to make sure that happens. You should also have access to free legal counsel, either provided by the state (which would be mediocre) or pro-bono aid from community service lawyers (which should be good to excellent). As long as you don't plead guilty to things you didn't do, you should be found innocent. Fight the charges and stay stubborn, you're good at that.
I think she is trying to get a case to put a judgement against me.. claiming that at some unnamed time in the past that my bank bounced a rent check and that I damaged things..none of it is true.. she had me pay the taxes for the land I have the tax receipt and dump landfill pass for paying the taxes.. but I dont expect to get a fair day in court if it goes to court..
One last recommendation, I'd let your landlady know that you'll be moving the camper off her property within 30 days when your lease runs out, but your lawyers said you can take legal action if she impounds the trailer before then. That may get you a little breathing room.
Sorry for all the grief you're going through. I'm glad the lawyers agree that you're being abused by the landlady, and that one of your bosses wants you to stay on. I hope this is a short-term crisis rather than a long-term one and you find a workable solution. I sent some money to your PayPal account for any immediate expenses. Please let me know your new phone number when you get it.
I talked to lawyers they said it was a violation of human right and fair housing but did not think a case would do much good.. that if they impounded or destroyed my camper to call them back... so yeah... my phone is no longer working... I will try to get another one soon.. one boss wants to let me go on general principle of of haveing points.. but the world devolved into chaos when I was gone... and someone has to drive forklift..so other boss says wait...
