Prologue p9

I enjoyed scripting this page, and could probably do an entire book around a gang of idiotic demon creatures joking their way through lunch. Tone wise, it adds a little bit of comedy to break the ice after the scene hit its horrific climax with the previous page. Plotwise, it's subtlely important, as we get our first insight into what is actually going on from the dialogue in the first two panels.

Joshua's expressions are intentionly muted as he's in a mixed state of shock, as well as delusion, since his ability to perceive the supernatural has made interpreting actual reality all the more difficult. In the final page, we get a foreshadowing cameo of Jeremiah and his beloved shotgun.
