Prologue p13
PeterAaronRose on March 7, 2007
In the last panel of the previous page, we begin a fade out that brings our prologue to an end, as Jeremiah reveals his intentions to Joshua. With it, Brent tossed the gray tones out the door and went to pure black and white, which I think works beautifully in bringing closure to this scene.
This is also the final page of our original teaser preview that we used to promote the book online when it was originally published. With this new serialization on DrunkDuck, we'll be making the entire book available for the first time online, with pages going up on a frequent basis starting next week. So, sit back, grab a bowl of microwave popcorn and enjoy the ride.
Once again, thanks for tuning in. Brent and I look forward to hearing from you.

Treelov, you have a good point. I recall Peter had envisioned this stark light that Jeremiah and the young Joshua were to walk into. It may have been a single panel that became an entire page. Peter wrote his script as a guideline for the artwork. It was ripe with suggestions and input but really left quite a bit up to artistic license. As I said in my previous post, we were kind of figuring it out as we went along. It'd be easy for me to find issues with work that I did some time ago. Inking was certainly new to me. It's a different way of thinking. I thought that I had to sacrifice detail and had to be more stylized. We learned a lot as we went along and I hope that it shows throughout the book. Check back in and let us know.
