At 22 (the worst age), Mikey is a giant loser. As his best friend Gunther put it, he spends every day of his life pining for the unreturned love of both his father and a girl he hardly knows, while dressed as a large duck, only to come home to a decayng apartment where his only solace from complete loneliness is a talking, mean-spirited hamster. OK, Ted is not a hamster, but it's a close enough description of Mikey. When a man claiming to be Mikey's guardian angel shows up, Mikey inexplicably lets him move in and drive him crazy. It's fun to imagine Gary speaking in Patrick Warburton's voice, by the way. Don't be fooled by the format or by my write-up: this is actually a comic with a developing storyline which picks up the pace after the early pages.
crazyduck has also written a quick story guide for those people who (understandably) may not want to read 400 pages to get caught up. So check out the guide if you like and you can jump into some of the more recent pages too!
