The world of Masks is similar to our own but differs in a crucial way, that would be the existence of superheros. We're introduced to high-speed action as superhero Flick battles a burning super villain with fiery powers. Despite the vicious nature of the battle you expect things to go in the usual trajectory, but you'd be wrong… Then we're introduced to Danielle, a non-super hero, who's about to have a very painful experience… The art is uncomplicated, streamlined and pretty, full colour and digital. The writing is dramatic and action filled with minimal text.
