Episode 56 - BASO Profundo Post Feature Interview
Dec 20, 2011
This particular Quackcast marks the very first time I've ever interviewed a featured comic creator, just after his feature! Genejoke was kind enough to descend from his palatial Robinson Crusoe style palm tree manor house on the tropical shores of southern Britain, wearing a rumpled cream linen suit and a white panama hat. Sipping a dry Martini in the hot noon sun he slipped on his half coconut headphones and spoke into a conch shell for the interview about his fantastic featured SciFi space opera comic: B.A.S.O - See Genejoke's profile and his stuff here: http://www.drunkduck.com/user/Genejoke

For some reason I assumed you guys were American or Canadian hah.

You should definitely do more interviews! It was neat (and kinda weird) hearing Genejoke talk about his work in his own voice.

Really enjoyed this one...would love to have Genejoke talk about 3d again, more indepth in terms of how it's done (and also in terms of laying out a comic page and stuff, which he is very good at). Great 'Cast, guys, thanks! And Gesundheit, Mrs. Genejoke!

@RPG- Yup, four months. And I was drawing it most every day. :) You see I work pretty HUGE and treat every panel like a painting, so that's why... plus I frequently just redo things over and over and over. @Gullas- heh! That was the song! ^_^. Yah, the comic turned out to something different that what you expect, didn't it? That was the word though!

I got so scared when the music started at 3:00, due to wearing headphones and I had bunch of tabs and stuff open so I sat there going through it all to see which one was playing XD. Oh and Oz, "Yaoi" is the word you were looking for...

Genejoke is great to talk to! I thought that sneeze was from a puppy ^_^

hellooooo, Mrs Genejoke! (timestamp 30:03) :-) Nice quack - Oz and G have a very nice interplay, like the two of you kickback and discuss stuff off the cuff all the time. fascinating all that you're experimenting with, G.

My wife had a cameo role with a rather loud sneeze.
