Two worlds coexist next to each other. One of them, Arindia, is inhabited by magical creatures and slowly dying, the other one, Earth, is filled with non-magical beings except for a few humans who are able to use magic and therefore allowed to travel into the magical world.
If the magic-wielding humans are Arindia's curse or salvation solely depends on their choice and on how much they are willing to sacrifice for the magical world.
(UPDATED EVERY WEEKEND) Humanity has discovered strange ruins, left by an ancient civilization with technology far more advanced than ours. These “Arks” have become the new goldmines, where many adventurers venture to find something to make them rich. However, the Arks are full of dangers and traps that only certain people can avoid. The “Whispered” are somehow able to understand the writings of the ancient civilization and thus guide the adventurers through them. But even then there are many dangers ahead for anyone who dares to enter the Arks, like with the two heroes of this story.
Sammy: A headstrong Ark Hunter, who is more brawn than brain, but is also very loyal to those she considers her friends.
Vincent: A young Whispered that is the opposite of his partner in almost every way. He provides the intelligence that Sammy lacks in her work.
What kind of discoveries will these two make, as they enter a world of danger and peril?
One day a Holy Knight from the Kingdom of Rahknor enters a small town to capture a girl named Fang who has been causing trouble. Soon after he completes his mission, plans for a nation wide war using the Arkin Blade, a legendary weapon yet to be found, are revealed, leaving the unwitting pair no choice but to find it and stop these plans before they can become a dark reality. It won't be easy, many evil and sketchy types are after the Blade as well for their own reasons.
