SS7 23 Bottle tops and broken dreams

Life and everything else has been slowing me down a lot lately as far as the comics concerned. I've used up all my buffer and I haven't got anything ready for Becky to colour either this week so this is probably a good point to take a break for a couple of weeks.

Todays page is another flashback to events over the previous six months and during my break I've decided it will hopefully make it more readable by putting a countdown of weeks in the title box as we move towards the present day.

Thanks for your support though as always and apologies for the delay.

Dear Sky yeah seems at first heart breaking @ Fruit Bat Yeah count down clock .,good idea I am very impressed with Skys multi time line sequence . as if we had [ Time 1 = Time 2 minus 3.2 seconds ] on three light bending plot lines coven together so they are on a non- space x-1 getting lost have Pink Flyod playing Guess both are asking themselves Whats nexy?Brillant story plot Sky tommym

Sky, R/L takes priority and sometimes a break is just what's needed. Thanks for mentioning last week about the strip that people were giving people space. I think the countdown timer might be a good idea, some of us - okay, me - have found keeping track a little difficult. As for this week's strip, good looking top panel which sets the scene - I wonder what Janey's dream was - intermediate panels nice and simple and then the last the frame, silent and perhaps one of the saddest frames in this comic. Have a nice break.

Fruitbat: I think if this final chapter was read as a finished comic it would seem clearer but because we have a whole week between each update I can see how the jumping around can be confusing. I'll be able to post 'The story so far..' in the edit box more from now on too which will help but I think a countdown will also make it clearer how Sarah's time spent between Lucy and Janey fit into the flashbacks too. **** Funnily enough in my first draft Janey began the page by saying '..and then an elephant was eating my umbrella!' but I thought readers might assume there was something cryptic in the line so I did away with it.

STR: I guess we all have moments like that in our lives where something that once evoked happy feelings or memories becomes connected to painful ones instead. It is sad.

Nic and Ben: Thanks. I do love doing the art for this most of the time but the hot weather made me lethargic and then my enthusiasm waned so I felt it best to take a break. ************ DV: I like to think Janey genuinely did just feel it was a cool thing to find and shared it without thinking. :)
