We're a bit overdue this week but we're here now and I have to say Becky's done a wonderful job with the colouring and captured the atmosphere very nicely!

Once again Nikki's appeared to have gained some attention on their big night out but is it the start of something wonderful and meaningful or just another big let down for her? More on that next week ;)

Love that first panel. I could rarely do that angle and get it right. The "colors" logo is a nice play on words, with the Iwo Jima flag changed to the LGB-everyone else flag. So that club is inclusive..? ...and the colouring is great. ...not MIA B-)

Bear: I was a bit disappointed with that first panel tbh, it's one of those pieces of art that you feel really excited about at first and then look at a week later an feel the balloon pop. lol I think I mixed my perspectives up too much but if you like it that's cool and it's Good to see you around again anyway :)

And the snowball is getting patted into shape . . . I love the page. Opening panel is cool & colourful, love the Iwo Jima part of the clubs logo, and I do appreciate the "camera angle" on the first panel. A detail that strikes me is how Laura seems to be hanging back, everyone else is revved up and ready to have fun, but Laura's quiet and looks defensive in her posture. See how it all starts rolling, but I do wonder if the two drinks at a time will be a factor - alcohol dissolves the inhibitions, including the ones about opening your mouth before thinking.

Fruitbat: I think most of you will enjoy how this snowball grows as it consumes them one by one and leads to Laura getting crushed in the process. Laura is also the quietest and least noticed member in the group for sure whose only real friend is Lucy despite how politely everyone else treats her. ...... As I replied to DV the logo is the clubs own clever idea so I can't claim credit for that and the intention was to buy two drinks each to save keep going back to the bar but I was assuming they would drink them at a sensible pace. They get drunk either way so what the heck! :)

Not two drinks each, at least, didn't read it that way, butt looking at the next panel showing eight drinks does seem to show it is two each. Still not that they will drink them super quickly, just that they don't have to try and navigate to the bar as quick, and maybe drink slower

DV/Becky: Becky's quite right, when I came to do the art the word suddenly felt wrong so I checked the club website and sure enough it's spelt 'Colors' which I have to admit does look better. Technically I think the word looks nicer in the same way Nite Club just looks better than Night Club but the Iwo Jima flag is their actual logo too so maybe it is run by US owners.

Yeah we American's are sneaky that way, dropping those U's, but that's the UK club's name. It was probably hard for Sky to purposely misspell the word. Maybe it's a subtle hint that all colours are welcome at Colors?
