Hope everybody's keeping fit and well! Six weeks into lockdown and I'm still finding myself wondering how quickly the days are passing so I guess comic making is a great way to stave off boredom and keep the mind absorbed.
Another thing I've noticed in the grocery stores is that the cakes and sweets sections seem to be very sparse! At first I reasoned that it's because stores were only ordering in more supplies of essential items but whereas the basics have become much more abundant over the last couple of weeks the cakes and sweets still appear to be in short supply, especially my favourites anyway! I can only assume that with most people now spending more time at home they are turning into serial snackers instead which if true, may mean the next crisis facing the world will be one based on obesity! So I'm not complaining because the people hogging all the Jammie Dodgers, Kit Kats and Viennese whirls are keeping me healthier!

Soooo as Sarah and Janey step into the bizarre world of Alison and Jenny we shall be following them for a few weeks to find out how they get on!

Next week: Janey begins to realise why Sarah was so reluctant to accept the invitation!

We are about to enter Level Two Lockdown (after being in Level Three for about... two weeks?), may even be completely out by mid-June. Never really noticed any shortages and live at the shit end of the country and we normally get short-changed at the best of times

NicandBen: I've been taking the healthy route too as I've heard that sugar lowers your immunity but if I'm watching a movie I find it hard not to have a treat with my half time cuppa. I guess I've been conditioned by going to the cinema where they used to have a break between the supporting feature and the main one to sell ice cream etc. :)

Nicely drawn strip. As an aside, Jenny looks quiet good out of uniform. It looks as if Alison & Jenny have their own unique tastes, given the ducks with wellies etc. Oh, and I like Sarah's rainbow brolly. Clever or creepy? Hmmm . . . and I imagine Janeys going to catch on fairly quickly while Sarah was reluctant to attend what with Alison pouncing on Sarah like a rocket propelled bunny boiler ……………………………………………………………… next week will be interesting and, probably, somewhat creepy.

Fruitbat: The ducks have been a big thing in our area in the last couple of years. They are imported from abroad and basically some kind of root that resembles a duck so people have been buying them and putting them outside their front doors. I thought it was worth sliding those in. :)
