Having finally decided on a future with Janey, Sarah now has to work out how Nikki will fit in with their plans although it's beginning to look like that won't be as easy as she thought.

I did say we won't be seeing Janey again for a while but in fact I forgot that we do catch up with her again on the very next page when the girls decide to spend a weekend together in Paris!

I'd just like to thank you all for the lovely comments we have been receiving over the last few pages especially. This comic has always had a very special connection with it's readers and it would never have gone on for so long without all the support that's been shown, so yea, it's something that has always made this comic feel very special for me. :)

Ironscarf: I didn't even know you read our comic so I feel honoured to read this! After 15yrs my art has definitely improved a lot but I can still look back a few pages and feel an urge to make corrections! But thank you! :)

I've been quite worried about Nikki for a bit now. She seems very fond of Sarah, and anytime we've seen her flat, it's been very dark. Indicative of her mood perhaps? She never did seek proper help for what happened to her. Trauma can have lasting impacts. Sarah and Nikki need to have a proper, sit down conversation, to that everyone's expectations are out and in the open. I wonder if Janey and Sarah are jumping into things a little too quickly? They've been apart for quite a while and both have changed from who they used to be.

MB: Very astute observations. I've noticed from past comments that you always pick up on this stuff really well even though it's hard for me to give her as many pages as I tend to Sarah and Janey. This is an issue that comes up next page so as I said to DV I'm holding back a bit here. :) As for Sarah and Janey, I don't plan on showing them discussing marriage any time soon for that very reason. Sarah rather blurted it out as a desperate attempt to save the day and I think Janey understands that.

It has been my experience that trying to make everyone in your life happy will make you miserable. Sarah needs to talk to Nikki and tell her all the details about what she is planning to do with Janey. Don't let the stress build. Anyway Great page!

Gagroovy: That's very true. Sarah tries way too hard at times to make plans without sharing them and so often it tends to cause more problems.

Has Sarah forgotten what Janey said about Nikki renting a place nearby? While they may not be in the same house together like last time, if it's close enough, she would be spending most of her time at their place anyway :D

DV:That's Totally true. Sarah hasn't forgotten but her reasons for feeling anxious will come out with Janey on the next page so I can expand more about this then :)

Wow, I loved their reconnection and how quickly both of them just decided on marriage!! These last pages have been really great for my Sarah and Janey ship! :) I'm happy they are getting back together!!!

Dear Sky, Interesting painting hanging in first panel. I am so GLAD to see our trio on the way towards happy ness Sarah Ever the do gooder worry wart Where there's a will there's a way Sarah! A Room of One's Own Nikki can take the Knight Shift Witching Grave Yard Hours, then when its over She can make breakfast for our Dynamic Duo and have all their clothes ready do the Laundry also ;) Later Nikki will shop, cook, serve, dinner and wash and dry all the dishes. When Janey and Sarah Interact with the customers they can look out for women who might be happy with Nikki! tommym

I can see how much my trans friend treasures the people in his life who accept and value him for who he is. If Nikki is anxious about being abandoned I get it. Such friends are not easy to come by. I think Sarah shouldn't worry too much; Nik showed how strong she is after she got assaulted.

Fred: That's a really good point. I was reading an article last week about the wife of a trans woman in England who stood by her partner from the original revelation to her full transition and in one sentence she remarked,'We both lost a lot of friends and family on the way.' I've heard this from other examples too so I can see why friends like Sarah feel so valuable.
