SS7 156 Teasing Nikki

I picked up a copy of a book called ‘The Boy in the Dress’ by David David Walliams this morning at a bootfair. I'm very familiar with the writer as he wrote one of my favourite children's books called ‘Mr Stink’ but I'd never heard of this one. I've only read the first three chapters so far but I'm so impressed with it that I thought it was worth mentioning because even though it's a children's book it has such a sense of reality about it that it feels like it could easily be similar to Nikki's childhood too!
Anyways, back to me own stuff and next week Nikki makes that all important phone call!

I'm surprised you'd never herd of Walliams' book - I'd seen him spruiking it on Jonathan Ross/Graham Norton, when it came out. Strange chap B-)

Bear: Yea, me too tbh. I'm pretty familiar with most of what he does but I don't actively follow him. Maybe typing 'Lesbian Romance' in the search bar all the time is a bit tunnel visioned of me.
