About
My real name is Terry Turley. I am a 62 year old, divorced, retired Computer Tech. (and no I won’t look at your computer.)
The NanoCritter comic strip comes from when I was a kid. Back then we called it Fleas or dotts. One would take a pencil put a dot on a piece of paper and say “you know what this is? it’s a flea.” Then one would put a dot a little above and to the right and say “now it’s fleas playing leapfrog.”
The Nanotech part came in about 2003 when I went to a University of Nebraska seminar on nanotechnology and some of the 3d images reminded me of the game fleas. I have been reading about and making fun of nanotechnology since.
