I'm Joe Briery, the creator of Dilly. I just want to take a minute to give the backstory as to how I came up with the idea of creating Dilly. The main character is for the most part me, Dilly is a hapless surfer from Santa Cruz, surrounded by his two friends Denise (who I named after my late wife) and Stu, he gets through life in some comical ways, especially when Officer Blaze is near by. Growing up in The Bay Area in Milpitas (now residing in Carson City,NV), Santa Cruz was one of my old stomping grounds and spent much of my time there sucking in the culture and lifestyle, and doing some surfing myself, this is my way of returning home. Thanks to my daughter Sky who played a huge role in getting this up off the ground and going.
