Since we're encountering the Majestic Knight on HIS turf for the first time, we thought it appropriate that Ben, the Knight's creator, do this one and the next page. Ben's comments:
“This is my first page on the project, and I have mixed feelings about it. I did some very obvious cheating here, but I am very proud of the first panel. I went with a very ‘boom-tube’esque feel with the Catwalk. Knowing Al's as big a Kirby fanboy as me, I'm sure he's ok with it. A lot of drab gray here, but what else do you expect from the Majestic Knight's home, the castle? The entryway here is the final level of security in the castle, lined with a tamper-proof lock, and to fill with a hardening foam if an intruder is detected. I'm also especially proud of how Mindmistress looks in panel 2. We'll see how my next page does.”

Energize: "Well, that was a lot more pleasant than our last trip."
Fusion: "May I request a barf bag before we do any more reality-hopping?"
Hoodoo: "So where are we?"
Mindmistress: "The Castle's vestibule."

Fusion: "Another Brooder. Wonderful."
Bob: "What a pity he didn't say: 'Walk this way.'"

well can you post the scriptthen? because its not very clear at all from the artwork whos saying half of that stuff- especially in the first and last bits. :(
aww, i was hoping for some of his black and white art to fill out his pages. and it is a shame kitty hawk won't get a chance for some pages, oh well, you guys still are a great cast (is that the right term for artists/story tellers?). next comic you need a decent CG artist to join up. would that look weird or what?
I'd been waiting for some time to see Ben's art on here. It's nice to see the creative team now fully represented (unless Kittyhawk finds the time to do a page, but I'm not expecting her to be able to). Panel 1 is definitely great and I think Ben has done a very good job so far on drawing Mindmistress.
I put up the message Ben gave us, but now that I look at it---Mindmistress isn't IN panel 2. (Unless you're going up and down rather than left to right...) So I'm not sure if he's talking about Mindmistress in panel 3 or Fusion or Yuuki in panel 2.

We'd LOVE for Kittyhawk to do some, but her schedule's pretty full right now. If she ever changes her mind---well, we wouldn't hesitate!
