“The throneroom revealed. More drab gray stone. We need the Gray Knight's wife, Catherine Harper, the Lady, and one of their young wards, a young girl with a mysterious affinity to weaponry. I had a bit more fun with this page, and I think it's extremely expressive.”
I'll take the art chores next Tuesday. The Castle can be an intimidating place, but a VERY interesting one.—Al

Also, in ENERGIZE, lots of info on HIS origins and a short reference to his CROSSOVERKILL adventures (interestingly, BGH finishes up BEFORE Crossoverkill, while Energize's current storyline is set AFTER. I'm not sure if CROSSOVERKILL happens before or after MM's curent adventure, BTW.) That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Energize/index.php?p=825055.
Oops. Make that BGH's last episode at http://www.drunkduck.com/Bad_Guy_High/index.php?p=825128--the one I linked was the one before that one.
STRONGLY suggest EVERYONE go to BAD GUY HIGH and read it's last episode---beautiful page in its own right, but with implications for CROSSOVERKILL and Captain Perfect's and SuperPowerGirl's status in the BGHverse. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Bad_Guy_High/index.php?p=824675.
maybe the third will be just black and white? doing a good job thus far, but i like the contrast of a well drawn colorless page, it says something about the line art used, which is generally not used or if used, not very well. it seems to be the lost art.
It's always interesting to see Ben's artwork in color, considering how litle I've seen of it (and I know it would have been too time-consuming for all the pages in Point Guardian or Majestic Knight to be colorized). It's especially apparent in Captain Perfect and Energize, who are full of color, all primary. Yellow definitely stand out from his usual take of greys and muted blues, and so does that rd on Captain Perfect's costume. Contrasted in this page with the high amount of grey for the knights, those two really look out of place, and this is one place in which Mindmistress's costume doesn't stand out as odd--nobody would really think too much about the fully armored woman with all the other armored people around. Though I do notice her armor still gets a different color than the Knights', because hers is reflective and theirs is meant to conceal.

I kind of figured that's what it was. Sorry, I shouldn't have phrased it as a question, my bad.

Barracks don't come with shampoo, they come with a bed and cubby holes.

It's funny how polite someone will get with a knife to their throat.

How sure are we that the young ward with an affinity to weapons isn't a doppleganger herself?

NeoDarklight: You're absolutely right. And no one else noticed it, among us. VERY sharp eyes.
