Interleude--Faces Magazine Interview Page 01
EssayBee on June 4, 2013
Here's page 1 of the interview with Dr. Electric, annotated (via purple sticky notes) by Savunn herself.
This article was laid out for 2-page spreads, but DrunkDuck won't accommodate image widths of over 960 pixels (which would make the text illegible). Instead, I'll be updating 2 times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for the next 3 weeks to get this interview posted. The second post will include the next page, as well as shrunken layout of the full 2-page spread. Thankfully, all text has been laid out so that there are no split paragraphs (or split sentences) across pages.

OK, Alanna's a very good interviewer.

Yeah, it's annoying that DD doesn't allow wider-page spreads. Especially since on my (widescreen) monitor, there's a ton of empty space to the left and right of your comic... @jamoecw: I think Chris did a really good job of being balanced. And the 'flat earth' thing is a general example of ignorance, not specifically a religious thing. Alternately, the Earth rotating around the sun example *could* be seen as a criticism of religion, since advancement in astronomy was held back by a century due to Church opposition. Though even then it would be a criticism of a particular group or a particular set of actions rather than a criticism of religion in general.

the flat earth thing is also a common way to prove that science is superior to religion, yet at the time that people believed that the world was flat science and religion were one, heck magic at one point literally meant the higher sciences. ignorance is always a two way street, which is why it is best not to trow rocks at people's beliefs, whatever they are.

Nice layout so far. Can't wait to see what else we'll find out about the Fab 5.

I must object to the Earth is flat thing. Research shows that there was never a time in history that civilization believed the earth was flat.
