Chapter 3 page 20
j giar on Jan. 21, 2009
Hey Kids.
Hope everyone had a nice and pleasant holiday season. So let's get started. Here's the complete page 20…please do not be offended since I deleted the original post. The pages that follow were an after thought. Or rather a whole in the story I felt needed to be filled. In the upcoming pages we'll find out a little more about who the gents in the suits and tat's are. More about Frank, who he is, what he does and where he got the tat that sits under his eye. Thanks to those of you that show up and comment. It's mucho' appreciato' See everyone here next Thursday.

Trev- Thanks for droppin' by. Chip...again- Yes...yes I am. Sorry dude had to say it. I'll give a shout after my nap. Sysli- I was a wee bit alarmed when I saw the short post...but knew better. Yes the eye tat's are different on everyone. Each a symbol representing the soul of the individual. Which makes Franks even more interesting. Next page you'll find out the meaning behind the "taka-tak" sound. I'm just giddy with excitement. There's a term I don't get to use often. Jim

Ahem. Sorry, that was a fragment of what I have to say (and hopefully you aren't surprised by my legthy comments by now), here's the whole thing: THERE you are. You know, I've been checking in all day just to see if you'd updated. Normally I'm not good with dates, but this one I managed to remember. It's good to see you and the story again Jim. As always. Hmm, those eye-tattoos makes me wonder. I can see they're different, and following the speaking persons logic (the "it's a sign of your commitment" thing) that could mean that the different tattoos signify... something. Or maybe they just thought it's be boring to give them the same one. Who knows, freaky cults (well, it kinda looks like a cult right now!) have weird logic. No idea about the taka'ing. Kinda looks like the sound guys in a freaky cults would make. Maybe I just like my freaky cult theory a bit too much. Hey, guy number two from our left in the line in panel 3 looks happy. All the others look dead serious (panel 4 and the mouth of guy number 3 in panel 3 does at least, I'm just guessing the whole feel here is that slightly maddening tension you always get when somebody important is about to happen/happening). Maybe it's just my screen doing that, maybe he's just a really happy guy, I don't know. But I love wondering about it, so it's all good. And their candles produces a lot of smoke it seems. Very ritual-istic. Very cultish. Waiting a whole week is going to be hard this time Jim, I want to know what's going on... And see if I can support my creepy cult theory of course.

"...send you a copy from England" Jerk. LOL

Chip- I'll let you know when and send you a copy from England. =) In all seriousness I could make it available in chapters, but it's not what I originally planned on doing. The original concept was to do two books. Book 1 Is what we're reading now. Since adding this batch of pages it's thrown off my page count so now I have to go back and look again. Glad you liked the page...talk to you soon. Cateran- My apologies for the delays. I'm hoping to stay on track now. And yes, now would be a good idea to re-read. In the next couple of pages we'll refer to what went on in the park at the beginning. See all nice ,neat and properly packaged. Thanks for hangin' in with me. Jim

Hey! Nice to see an update. Beautiful page, as always. (Though it's been long enough since I read this that I'm thoroughly lost ... hey, good excuse to go back and reread it all, yes?)
