Last page of chapter 8 - Kimber Lee looks like she could use a new chapter…
.
Like my new technique, but felt my previous couple pages were too dark overall, so trying to work something in to make it lighter.
.
Thanks for reading everyone!

Wow, what a cliffhanger! This is very intriguing. The possibility is that there's someone else like her on the scene unless by some bizarre coincidence she's fighting herself.

@VinoMas: Hey! Thank You!! :D

@PaulEberhartd: Thanks! Hey I'm just glad you're back!

Ouch! I still haven't caught up with all my reading and my laptop's battery is almost down again (I've got internet access, and I've got an elecctric socket, but the two are a couple of hundred meters apart) But what I saw so far was great, especially art-wise. Poor Kimber! This doesn't look as if she could recover so easily this time...

@Peipei: Yeah, I know you know what it's like to draw a character in pain - ain't always easy!
KimLuster at 4:41AM, July 16, 2014
@plymayer: Ha, I found myself thinking similar while drawing the scenes!
Peipei at 9:32PM, July 15, 2014
Oh crap! Not good D:. This page as done so well, you could feel her pain looking at all the glass shards in her skin. Ouch!
plymayer at 8:39PM, July 15, 2014
Keep going Kimber - you can do what you put your mind to do!

@jgib99: Thank you :)

This page is amazing. Brilliant action!

@Banes: Thank you :) Alas, this isn't a love story or a comedy (although I hope it has a little of both in there). I'm pleased that it surprised you - there may be a few more coming very soonish! ;)
Banes at 9:05AM, July 15, 2014
Amazing page! Action is great when there's emotion behind it and you can feel the pain of the character. I expected Kim to escape, so this caught me off guard! A bleak ending to this chapter indeed. ...that's not a crit. It's a powerful, powerful ending!

@FC: Thanks so much! Ya know - I wrestled with the placing of the 'Loved-Ones' thought-boxes. I thought, is the last mentioned more important? Or the first? Let's just say all of the ones mentioned are EXTREMELY important to Kimber Lee!

@Bravo: Thank you! :) I tried to imagine how I'd feel in the same situations, what my expressions would be, then draw it (mirrors often make great reference points haha) - I'm glad it seems to be coming across!

This page is brilliant! You are very skilled at conveying the high voltage of action sequences. Good work on the color saturation, too. It says a lot that Socorro is way up at #2 on her list of loved ones.
bravo1102 at 5:42AM, July 15, 2014
Whatever you are doing, it is working. You really capture the terror with her expressions and the frenzy of the fighting with her hair.
