Things are escalating! And the ‘copter crashes near the base of the building the families are in, smashing the window…!
.
As I mentioned last page post, I wanna try something different! I feel like the attempt to make colors richer is getting away from me, and causing my details and depictions of action to suffer, and in being totally honest, it’s taking a bit too much time, so I’m gonna take a step back and trying something different starting next page. I really like the style of The Cull by the immensely talented Singring, and I’m going to try something with that style in mind!
.
Thanks for Reading Everyone!!

At the end of the page I went 'ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!' quite loudly. Consider that a tribute to your awesome talent for storytelling!

@Barry: haha it may be more of taking a step back so I can try to move forward again :D
BarryCorbett at 10:10AM, April 13, 2015
Changing your style is never easy. Looking forward to seeing it evolve.

@bravo: hubris doesn't allow for contingencies...!!
bravo1102 at 7:00AM, April 13, 2015
Didn't anyone study Murphy's corollaries around here? I need a contingency plan.

@ghosty: industrial strength I hope!

this is why all my dream machines have windshield wipers

Very exciting action packed page.

@Peipei: That's why Arnold Schwarzenegger calls it 'The Choppa!!'
Peipei at 1:05PM, April 12, 2015
Wow, this scene is very horrific! That guy getting chopped by the helecopter...yikes!
KimLuster at 12:37PM, April 12, 2015
@tupapayon: For some of these guys, today would've been a good day to call in sick!!
KimLuster at 12:36PM, April 12, 2015
@Banes: yeah, in many ways the Baby metaphor works - like Fallopiancrusader commented a couple pages back, it's like Eli has become pure ID!!
tupapayon at 10:55AM, April 12, 2015
Soldiers becoming weapons… who would've thought… I guess things are not going too well for these men…
Banes at 10:26AM, April 12, 2015
haha...good call. I never figured he was an ACTUAL giant baby, but all of us referring to him that way could cause confusion... XD
KimLuster at 9:53AM, April 12, 2015
@Banes: A Baby the size of King Kong is the worse enemy imaginable haha... That said, I don't want everyone to think Eli really got transformed into a giant baby (although it really could be argued he's a new form of life) - rather, all his body hair got burnt off in the big explosion a few pages back!!
KimLuster at 9:47AM, April 12, 2015
@Tom: Thanks!
KimLuster at 9:47AM, April 12, 2015
@Bravo: these guys took Eli down with just machine guns once - they truly didn't expect it to be different this time! We'll see if they can adjust their tactics (and bring in more firepower) in time!
Banes at 9:11AM, April 12, 2015
Fantastic, exciting page! Babies just LOVE throwing their food, don't they?
Call Me Tom at 6:51AM, April 12, 2015
Awesome action in this page!
bravo1102 at 6:07AM, April 12, 2015
Well played Eli. They're worried about collateral damage and since you don't care you can just use their own concern for their personnel against them. Next time guys try firing the missile at far range from a few kilometers away. But then he'd just snatch it out of the air wouldn't he? Gonna need something with firepower that lobs in speedy projectiles at far range. You might need traditional tanks and artillery.
