I hope you will all forgive me for not putting together a proper newspost this week! I've just finished baking a ginger cake (to be served after dinner tomorrow with warm lemon sauce), and I'm about to settle down with my family to watch A Muppet Christmas Carol - one of my all-time favourite films. If you're reading this on Christmas day I'm probably tearing open gifts or falling asleep while watching Batman: The Movie (as is Christmas tradition)

How did you all spend your Christmas day? I hope there was lots of gifts, good food, and time spent with family for all of you celebrating today!
