2014 saw a very sad thing happen, or rather not happen – the first time in four years that we did not to a DD Radio Play. For those who haven’t participated in the past, the Radio Play is truly one of the coolest community projects that we do on Drunk Duck. It involves a script that is acted out by various DDers and edited together, accompanied by an illustrated comic version with each page of the script drawn by a different person (I have narcissistically stolen one of my own pages for the image above). The past three radio plays have all been about hardboiled detective Maxwell McDuff:
Maxwell McDuff: Private Eye
Maxwell McDuff: The Duck Always Quacks Twice
Maxwell McDuff: The Third Duck

Now Kroatz would like to know how we can all pull together and make a great 2015 Radio Play. He has some harsh words for us for having forgotten poor Maxwell McDuff and company in 2014:
“…that's a sad thing, for I truly believe that everyone involved in the DD Radioplays, and there were a lot of you, has fond memories of the small part they got to play, or the few frames they got to draw. And it's a sad thing for the Duck, because even if there are still a lot of Writers and Artists posting their work, it is not really a community if projects like the DD Radioplay can be so easily forgotten. I'd like to play my part, and help the rest of you create something big again. I've seen what some of you can create by yourselves, now imagine how great we can be if we work together. So, the question I want to ask, and I'd like each and everyone of you to answer is:
What do you want to do, to help?”

So for a start, let’s all head to Kroatz’ thread HERE and have a discussion about what we want out of the 2015 Radio Play.
Do we want another Maxwell McDuff story, or something completely different? Maybe TWO radio plays?
I definitely saw some new faces in our DD Secret Santa this year – I hope some of you will join in on this, as well! We’ll need writers, voice actors, artists and more!
