The DD forums have been pretty unwieldy for ages now - we have WAY more sub-forums than we need. JustNoPoint made an excellent suggestion to consolidate them into a smaller number of broader forums. We've been discussing the change in this thread without any objections so far, so I went ahead and made some changes yesterday!

Here's what I've done up to now:

General Discussion; Random Discussion; Debate and Discussion; Comic Talk, Tips and Tricks; Media Megaforum; and Forum Games - condensed into one Comic Talk and General Discussion forum

Meet, Greet, Show and Tell; The Marketplace - condensed into Meet, Greet, Show and Sell

Networking and Community Projects; Drunk Duck Awards - now just Networking and Community Projects

Help, Support and Suggestions - The stickied threads from this and from Comic Talk, Tips and Tricks have been combined into one best-of reference subforum called Tips and Tricks/Support


This gives us a total of four active boards on the forums, down from twelve! I've moved relevant/active/sticky threads from their original location to the new sub-forums, and the old sub-forums have been labelled *INACTIVE* but are not hidden, so they will still be accessible if you need to check something. Don't post in the inactive ones, as whatever you post probably will not be seen. But if there is a thread that you want moved to the active sub-forums, please send me a message!

Let me know your thoughts! Additional forum categories may be added again if it seems like particular topics need their own space.


FASHION FREE-FOR-ALL

It's been great seeing how many people are already taking part in VinoMas' DD fashion show! March is a free-for-all month - you can post paper dolls of your own characters for people to use, or outfits you've designed on your own or other people's characters. Check out the fashion parade here!


MARY SUE CONTEST

If you haven't already, get started on an entry for my Mary Sue contest! The goal is to create a one-page comic with the Mary Sue-iest character possible. Send me your entries by Thursday, March 19th - I will post all the entries next Friday, and then the winner will get plug for their comic in an upcoming newspost!
