Udyr: You've summed up everything quite nicely here. You're certainly right about Nikki! I felt she might be jealous at not getting the same attention from Sarah, plus a bad experience with Peter and also a little concern for Sarah as well. You're right about Lucy too although her quote was more rather flippant than anything else. I felt that if she was half afraid Sarah might be having the same sort of doubts as Nikki she might at least hint that guys were not much to worry about. There's more along the other lines you speak of next page :)

Bear: Funnily enough we debated the colour for a couple of days!lol Becky liked one colour and me another but in the end we both settled on this. We then discussed the colour of the kitchen at length too as a dark colour made the robe stand out really nicely but made the page as a whole look pretty grim too!

Tupapayon: Yea, you're right, it's not nice but it's also stuff I've picked up online myself so it felt fair to show what's out there. I did the same thing to Nikki through Sarah and Janey too which was to give them an attitude I'd picked up about the confusion between transvestites and transgenders in general. I know they are delicate subjects though so I try not to be too hurtful.

Fallopian: I totally agree with you, Nikki should know better! I felt though that it was best to give Nikki these lines rather than someone more spiteful like Claire as it's ignorance from nice people that often hurts most and I did also feel Nikki could have several reasons behind her words, either a little jealousy at Sarah being so into Lucy or even something to do with Peter.

Kim: The very use of labels is always a continual issue of contention isn't it and it's interesting too because when reading through forums I've noticed that the very people who hate being labelled also often admit it is hard to try to avoid them especially when dating. Labels tend to be so cut and dried though that I can see the frustration of having one that is not clearly understood.

No! Bad Nikki! No good! Go back to bed! You grumpy! Its probably like someone mentioned, a bit of a mix of jealousy but also maybe 1% concern... I think its possible to be bi, but maybe prefer one gender over another anyway. Lucy seems more interested in women than men (as for her saying he has to be one charming pig to take her interest). Me for instance, 98% women then maybe there's 2% room if there happens to be a charming ass dude. I don't think love has much to do with gender. Some are 100% certain of who they want though and I respect that too. But being attracted to someone and falling in love is a complex thing...

Always personally viewed 'Bi' as being open to finding love in whatever gender it cums in, that was way back before learning about all the other gender-identification. To me, 'Bi' wasn't being 'gay' or 'straight', it was 'neither' or 'both'

Great stuff! Love Nikki's shirt!! And I totally agree with her words of caution. Save the labeling of bi's... Though I've heard similar, such as the very act of calling yourself bi seems to suggest monogamy's off the table... Like it's impossible to have a serious of monogamous relationships comprised of both genders! Sarah is quickly defensive about it!
