SS6 09 Exploring Laura's bedroom

The story so far: Sarah has moved into her girlfriend Lucy's house but has been pestered by strange dreams concerning the death of Lucy's previous partner Laura, who died there in rather mysterious circumstances. Although Sarah has found the family prefer not to talk about Laura she keeps getting the strangest feeling that Laura is trying to communicate with her!
Unfortunately Becky is still having internet probs and she's doing her best to get it sorted but of course with Xmas preparations it's all slowing her down. Hopefully we'll be back to normal updates very soon :)

Oh, same butterfly! That'd be fun :) I actually was wrong about the Japanese lore: it's supposed to be a moth visiting descendants and not a butterfly. Woe me.

Mo: The Ouija mousetrap not only kills the mouse but warns it to stay away in future, just in case it's ever reincarnated. I was shocked a couple of years ago to see just how small hummingbirds are! methinks if anybody has one for a pet then the bars must be very close together.

Infected: It could be the same butterfly that we saw at May's burial but I can't be sure as they all look very alike. ;)

Tommym: As I said to Kim, I was brought up to believe it was foolish to play with dead people and films like the Exorcist reinforced that belief so if I was in Sarah's shoes (as I often am) I'd be reluctant to use it myself.

bear: haha I assure you the problem is very real but she's just got a new modem so hopefully updates will be back to normal now. I'm not sure how much time she's had for colouring this week either though so although I was hoping to post Xmas Day it may be just after.

Kim: As kids we were always brought up 'not to mess with things you don't understand'so when I first heard Parker bros had brought out their Ouija game I was quite shocked. I believe they withdrew it though due to heavy criticism and it was classed as a rare game for many years. But now it seems the game has had a fresh revival in both interest and attitude!

A oujia board??? Nice touch with the butterfly outside the window. Someone told me that according to Japanese lore, if a certain kind of butterfly visits you, that's the spirit of one of your ancestors coming to say hi. Could Laura be that butterfly? o_O

Dear Sarah, Well Laura has a very nice room, to bad for Sarah there is little of interest. The Ouija board and pointer offer Sarah one last hope. I'm thinking Sarah is going to try it and she is going to get a message from Laura.The spirit of Laura will tell Sarah it no accident but rather she was killed. I'm guessing it is lucy who've tried to communicate with her. Saw the board a few pages back. Maybe that's why her spirit is at the mortal plane? :-)

Haha Sarah is quite the snoop isn't she?!! I'm on pins and needles worried about her getting caught (even though you hinted she wouldn't - at least by the 'normals' ;)) And now, an Ouija Board - I played those back in the day... most of the time they were hilariously wrong, but every once in a while *shivers*... Nope, I'm still a skeptic at heart... but still *shiver* :D Can't wait for next page!!
