SS6 53 Ron's story 3
skyangel on Oct. 28, 2017
Hopefully this page helps to answer some of your questions and steer your thoughts in the right direction at last. Just bear in mind that as far as Ron is concerned, he is telling Sarah the whole truth!
This page and the previous one really give more of an insight into Laura's mother and Ron's final line is perhaps confirming what some of you had already picked up from the last page. ;)
Next week: Laura's now enters the picture and we can hear from Ron how presence starts to affect life at Carlingford. :)
Have a nice week:)

And so the web continues to be woven! Sarah really is a Nancy Drew when it comes to personal drama.

Emi: It's quite a side story and I'm a bit surprised at how many pages it's taken to tell it but we're getting there. :)

"..as far as Ron is concerned.." being the operative phrase here. Ah, human interactions and emotions...I have fun with them too B-)

Truee. One thing I do love about writing is exploring the different perspectives, as in this case, Sarah's suspicions and ideas of whathappened and Ron's denial that he's done anything bad although clearly troubled by past events.

That kind of news calls for a "stiff one"!

Mo: Haha yes indeed :)

Whew, the familial implications... Hey Sky you ever read any books by V.C. Andrews (Flowers in the Attic, etc...)? The details are very different but this story certainly is certainly emanating that same vibe!! This tale you've spun is coming together wonderfully (disturbingly so haha)!!

Kim: Funnily enough, yes! That was a book I read in my teens and I have seen the movie too and although I only have a vague memory of the plot and story now it's quite possible it's had some influence on my own writing as I remember being very creeped out by the book!

Dear Sky, Carlingford looks desolate with those leafless trees in the fore-ground. "six months to live" seems like a real life soap opera. I guess Catherine lied to her husband about the baby, for years, then lied to Laura. Last panel says it all about Ron, Catherine is dying and all he thinks about is someone getting his money. tommym

Tommym: DV's reply pretty much clears this up for you I hope :)

Umm, no, Catherine was only interested in the money, that's why she staid with the guy who didn't love her but had money (or so she thought)

Hmmm... keep talking. He still looks like a creep to me (maybe you're just great at deceiving your readers ;) ). P.S.: since you asked - my comic is back from hiatus :)

IB: Thanks for reminding me, and it's good to see your comic moving again. :)

Yeah, he's not a 'bad' man, just has had to make some tough choices in life
skyangel at 4:46AM, Nov. 4, 2017
DV: That's how I see it. Bad people do good things and good people do bad stuff sometimes etc.
