Shuttle To Ride Page One

And here we go, more crew introductions.
The inspiration for this story came from basic setup of the comic. With the Albion and the mission being set up with minimal resources and scrapped together from the bottom of starfleets barrel. It makes sense that even the shuttles wouldn't be fresh of the production line.
What about voyager and it's infinite shuttles and making of brand new ones, you ask? Well, it's all about raw materials and crew expertise. With that in mind the crew of the Albion may well be able to do the same once up and running fully.
As El cid mentioned on the cover page, the uniforms have changed. I spent ages trying different looks, for a while I was trying to recreate the look of the uniforms depicted in the flashbacks in Picard, but I wasn't happy with the results.

Hey, if it was fit for flight twenty years ago, it's fit enough!

Nice intro to these folks! I'm in! And I'm sure the trip will go just fine!

I like how they're not an elite crew picked from the best ships in the fleet, to crew the best ship in the fleet. Cue obligatory bar brawl with Enterprise crew who dare mock their rust-bucket's engines. Oros must get a lot of "your moms" jokes.

There's a ongoing joke among trekkies how Star Fleet changes uniforms every six months or so and how hard it is on the folks to keep up with it.
