Nice explanation. I've thought about the idea of vampires having kids and even used it myself once. Does this mean that Charby's gonna starve Q until he gets senile and then keep him around like a crazy elderly "grandfather" figure? Also, now we can understand Roddy just a little bit more... he isn't so simple sometimes.

Conor H: The type of vampires that Rodericke, Quixoto and Uma are can age since they are actually "born". Vampirs like the elites and anyone who turns into a vampire does not age. The vampires like King Roddy are called pure-blood, which basically means they're closer to the original vampires. Their aging process is like that of a normal human up until they get to their late 20's and early 30's, which is when they pretty much stay stable unless other factors come into play. For example, a blood-starved vampire past his prime is going to age quite dramatically and might even become senile. Most don't choose to starve themselves in this way, of course! A proper comparison is that after age 25, humans have a biological trigger that causes the body to stop "growing" and starts the aging process where things begin to degenerate. Vampires of course, don't have this trigger to start breaking down and with proper nourishment are in a constant state of rejuvenation. Darn them!

bit confused. didnt think vampires could age, but roderick and barret seem 2 have. or do they have a similar shape changing ability 2 the elites (ie charby looking older and zerlocke looking younger)?

This explains the regular vampires' whole "Elite vampires are evil kill them roar" mentality. On a side note, Zerlocke's hoody in the last panel made me laugh.

I hope Zerlocke recieves permisson to hack Gabby to bits with his axe, the little brat, lol. Another great demon history lesson Amelius, thanks for sharing! I bet we get to meet this Cyril guy eventually (the sword imbedded in his chest reminds me of Daray's sword for some reason...). will we learn the origin of the Elites too sometime? Or are they simply just mutants or the next step in vampire evolution or something?
