#892 Moment of Doubt

See how he coldly dismisses her love potions? She worked hard on those, you know! :C I suppose i had to make it clear that it's not like the enchantment has worn off yet, since I had some doubters. Perhaps it's no longer as potent, but it is still there. A little insight into what Kavonn is useful for, eh? He mentioned this before to Daray, and once to Rosemary when he identified her charm spell. Being able to identify an enchantment, however, doesn't mean he is completely unaffected by it either. He's just aware that his feelings might not entirely be genuine is all.

And since it was brought up before, Crispo hasn't outright stated before that he's half-elf in the comic, and we didn't see when he found out because it was before his time in the comic. However, nightreflection had the right idea when he suspected that it has something to do with the “falling out” he had with his parents! We may delve further into this though later, so I don't want to say too much, but I think you have the right impression now, eh? :D

okay, on to other things! We got the proof in the mail today for a print of A Bird In The Hat, and it looks good but the price concerns us. A printed book costs $3.50, and on top of that there is shipping and if you want anything other than regular mail (or live in a country where it may charge a ridiculous fee) it can get pretty steep! YIKES. Regular shipping was around $4. Oh boy… I suppose it all depends on what you guys want. If there's demand for it, we'll set up the print version for sale, but I would feel pretty bad if you guys had to spend much for it. We don't want to rip you guys off for a rather short book. We're up to 77 sales currently.

Whatta ya say? Well let's discuss things in my forum if you will!

Also, since it has been asked a few times, the black things around Yiska's ears are floaty earrings. I sketched up something for the TWC vote incentive to make it look a little more clear what they look like. They aren't magical, just bobbing on invisible cord! (I have some, I took a picture of this figure i made out of pipecleaners and you can barely see the cord in some of the pictures!)
