Poor Lemrya, maybe some day you will meet someone who doesn't react like they wish they had a flamethrower in their hands. :(
Orrotta “blood” doesn't dry out quite like the real thing, it's more like a motor oil as I think I described it before. It tends to leave a stain.

I do hope you'll understand why these pages take so long to finish, this could be multiple pages of update normally but I couldn't bring myself to chop it up so I never have a buffer. Also my string of bad luck this past year with injuries setting things back; but hey my sprain doesn't impede drawing on the tablet by that much right now, so the moment my pain was manageable I worked very hard to get this done before the month was up. Oh it still REALLY hurts when I do something like pick up heavy things (cats) or kittens that squirm when you pick them up but the false impression I get that it's fine when I don't do these things leads me to do these things without thinking and then it's a sudden reminder that it still needs to heal. But I cannot resist holding a kitty!!
I don't know why but my motivation tends to go really high when I'm supposed to be taking it easy, so the 3 days I waited after the injury before plunging forward into work were torment. I needed to seize that motivation before it waned.

On the bright side for me, this past weekend I finally got to see my family again and visit with my beloved parents I haven't seen in too long, got to see my sister, and we had a family movie night with my awesome nephews, and I also got to hold adorable kittens.

Do take care of yourself, I've been living with a torn tendon in both my thumbs for the past 6 months, it's incredibly easy to reinjure a sprain. I would definitely be intimidated by Lemrya lol I'm curious to see if there's more to her than just scaring people all the time, guess I'll have to keep reading to find out! ^-^

Ooh! More collisions between the different groups and events happening! At least Tonius has another distraction, and there's "help" here for our erstwhile messenger. Also: Get well soon! I'm sorry to hear that there's been so many accidents. More importantly: Your health and sanity come first, and I enjoy these big updates because a lot happens in each one!

I had a good sniggering fit at "I didn't mean to scare you" for some reason. This page looks great, as always. Take care of yourself. Suffering for your art isn't always all it's cracked up to be, as I know only too well.

Did you ever see "The Thing" newer film that is a prequel? They show what happened before the earlier group and you get to see the inside of the alien ship down in ice. By the end of the film you see how the dog got infected and ran off. Very eerie!

Haha, I like that movie, but I forgot about that part! XD I had the Norris head-spider monster in mind from The Thing when I drew up this sequence with Lemrya standing between the shelves :D I would've blocked it a little more like the movie, but husbando was borrowing my internet laptop while his was in repair so I had to go by memory.

Oh I am, thank you! Hah, guilt overrides my common sense sometimes, but I've heard that's just an ADHD thing concerning getting things done/people counting on ya. But largely the sprain isn't too aggravated by my tablet, so most of my "giving self a break" is largely having to remind myself to get help for things instead of being stubborn!

Kittens are important. Taking care of yourself is slightly more important. Rushing art is way down the list. Take the time you need.

Kittens are very important XD I do have a brace, but the brace hurts my wrist bone so I keep taking it off. The ones with actual padding that were cheaper were all left-handed. Finally something nice for lefties, to my detriment! I have been actually taking breaks though, usually I power thru pain if I'm hyperfocusing. It takes a lot of willpower to pull myself off art when I'm feeling positive about it. When I'm down on it, I'm too ADHD to get anything done but in small bits.

Hehe, shiny animu hair might do it XD I've got about 20 custom brushes I made just to do hair and what works for me seems completely random, sometimes I get great results, sometimes I gotta do the whole thing over again. I used at least 5 of them on Avonlea's hair alone for this page. Thank you so much, it's one of the things I have the most fun with-- or hate doing, depending on the hair, haha!
